New Addition to the American Wind Power Center

On June 22, 2016, the American Wind Power Center opened a new 33,000 square foot addition. This new space houses a 4,000 square foot "G" scale train display, which showcases the early 1900s scenery when windmills and trains were vital to each other's operation. This exhibit provides a unique glimpse into the past, illustrating the interconnectedness of these two technologies during this period.
