Angels Attic was a unique museum located in Santa Monica, California. It was dedicated to the display of dollhouses, toys, and miniatures. This museum offered a unique experience for visitors, allowing them to explore the world of miniatures and toys in a unique and engaging way.
In 1981, the founders purchased a rundown Queen Anne style house in downtown Santa Monica. This house, built in 1895 and moved to its current location in 1924, had been subdivided into apartments and allowed to deteriorate. After nearly a year of restoration work, the house was transformed into the museum and opened to the public in 1984.
Unfortunately, Angels Attic closed its doors permanently in April 2017. While the museum is no longer open for visits, its legacy continues to inspire and fascinate those interested in dollhouses, toys, and miniatures.
