    On the last Friday in April,I spent a delightful day at the Art Gallery of Ontario.I stayed at this art museum from 10:30 AM to 8PM enjoying its fine collection of Old Master European Paintings from the 14th Century to the beginning of the 18th Century.I realize that the Detroit Institute of Art and the Cleveland Museum have a more comprehensive collection of Old Master European Paintings.Nevertheless I saw many Old Master European Paintings worthy of approbation at the Art Gallery of Ontario.14th Century Paintings included the Master of Faces'fresco,Christ and Two Disciples"(Spanish),Goncal Peres Sarria's"DiptychAnnunciation and Man of Sorrows"(Spanish),and Florentine Italian Trecento master,Giovanni Dei Biondo's"Vision of Saint Benedict" From the Renaissance Period,I was fascinated with Simon Marmion's"Mass of Saint Gregory",(Netherlandish),Bartolomeo di Giovanni's"Lamentation with Saints and Donor"(Italian)Master of Jativa's"Crucifixion"(Spanish).Bernard Orley and Master of Female Half Lengths'"Rest on Flight to Egypt",Barthel Bruyn the Younger's"Portrait of Lady",and Jacopo Tintoretto's"Christ Washing the Feet of the Disciples"(Italian).I also appreciated a fine Renaiissance Period by Tommaso de Stefano Lunetti. From the 17th Century,Isaw awesome Dutch Master Paintings by Rembrandt("Man with Arms Akimbo")("Woman With Lap Dog",Frans Hals("Portrait of Isaac Abraham Massa"),Arent Arentz("Skaters on the Amstel"),David Bailly("Stillife")Jan Lievens("Portrait of Old Lady")Jacob Van Campen,Arent de Gelder,and Michel Sweerts("Self Portrait"),among others I saw splendid Mannerist style paintings from the Baroque Period by Juissepe Ribera("Saint),Luca Giordano("Toilet of Bathsheba"),Giovanni Langetti("Isaac Blessing Jacob")Nicholas Tournier("Judgement of King Solomon")Mattia Pret("Saint Paul the Hermit"),and Guido Reni("Christ With Crown of Thorns",among others. From the 18th Century,I saw delightful paintings by Gian Paolo Panini("Capriccio with Pantheon"),Francois Boucher("les Sabots").and Jean Chardin("Stillife With Apricots".It was a privilege being back at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
