The Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum is a vast 167-hectare botanical garden and arboretum situated near Mumbil, in New South Wales, Australia. It is a member of the Botanic Gardens Conservation International and is internationally recognized with the code BURR. The garden is located 25 km from Wellington in the central western part of NSW and adjacent to the shores of Lake Burrendong.
The Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum is open to the public from 7.30 a.m. until dusk every day of the year. This allows visitors to enjoy the garden's beauty throughout the different seasons and at various times of the day.
The Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum offers a variety of amenities and activities for visitors. These include picnic areas, landscaped viewing posts, lake views, various trails for exploration, plant sales, treasure hunts for children, and guided tours. Native animals and birds, such as kangaroos and emus, can also be observed in their natural habitat.
