Caerphilly Castle, located in Caerphilly, Wales, is an impressive medieval fortification that offers visitors a glimpse into Welsh history. The castle's massive size and well-preserved structure make it a standout attraction. Visitors appreciate the extensive grounds and the opportunity to explore various parts of the castle, including towers and walls that provide panoramic views of the surrounding area.

The castle's most notable feature is its leaning tower, which rivals the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in its tilt. This architectural quirk adds to the castle's charm and intrigue. The moat surrounding the castle is also a point of interest, contributing to its picturesque setting.

Informative exhibits and displays throughout the castle help visitors understand its history and significance. Many reviewers mention the helpful and knowledgeable staff who enhance the experience with interesting facts and stories.

However, some visitors note that certain areas of the castle can be difficult to access for those with mobility issues. Additionally, a few reviewers mention that more interactive elements or guided tours could further improve the experience.

The castle's location in the heart of Caerphilly town is convenient, with ample parking nearby. Many visitors combine their castle tour with exploring the local area, making for a satisfying day out.

Almost empty but not allowing guests in unless booked 24hrs in advance on their website that kept crashing. Staff were rude and unhelpful and no-one of seniority to complain to on site. Covid has robbed Caerphilly castle of common sense!
