Cairnpapple Hill is open to the public from April to September. It features a small visitor centre where tourists can learn more about the site's history and significance. The visitor centre also provides useful information and resources to enhance the visitor experience.
The site features a concrete dome that replicates the second cairn discovered during the 1940s excavations. Visitors can enter this dome to see the reconstructed graves. Outside the dome, the surrounding post holes and graves are marked with colour-coded gravel, providing a visual representation of the archaeological plan of the site.
