Carl-Maria-von-Weber-Museum and its collection


The Carl-Maria-von-Weber Museum is a music museum in Dresden, the capital of the German state of Saxony. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of German composer, conductor, pianist, guitarist and critic Carl Maria von Weber and is located in her former summer residence. A permanent exhibition on the life and work of Carl Maria von Weber is divided over two floors in the museum. The collection includes personal items from the family, including Weber's tuning fork, baton, signet ring and signet stamp and historical documents such as scores, diaries and letters highlight the work of the composer.
