Casa Carducci

Casa Carducci is a historic building in Bologna, so called because it was the residence of the poet Giosuè Carducci. Now it is home to a cultural institute dedicated to him that includes the historic residence with garden and a monument dedicated to the poet by the sculptor Leonardo Bistolfi. It is a house-museum and features a library and an archive. Furthermore it houses The Civic Museum of the Risorgimento that is dedicated to the Risorgimento with objects dating from a period between the first descent of Napoleon in Italy (1796) and the First World War (1918), with particular focus on the relics linked to the territory.
