In the town of Constância, a monographic museum is dedicated to the life and works of Vasco de Lima Couto. The Casa Museu Vasco de Lima Couto houses a collection of his personal belongings, original works, and a rich collection of art including furniture and paintings. Since the 1970s, the museum has been owned by José Ramoa Ferreira, also known as Zé Brasileiro.
Vasco de Lima Couto spent the last four years of his life in the house that is now the Casa Museu Vasco de Lima Couto. After his death, the house was transformed into a museum, which was inaugurated by the President of the Republic, General Ramalho Eanes, in March 1981.
