Constructed in the 18th century, during the height of the Bandeirismo period, the Casarão Monsenhor Paulo Florêncio da Silveira Camargo stands as a testament to the architectural style of the era. It is one of the few remaining Bandeirista houses and uniquely, it is the only one located in an urban area.
The Casarão Monsenhor Paulo Florêncio da Silveira Camargo was listed by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN) in 1958 and underwent restoration in 1959. Since 1962, it has been home to the Historical and Pedagogical Museum Casa do Anhanguera, offering visitors a chance to delve into the region's past.
