The Chattanooga Zoo, located in Chattanooga, United States, offers a modest but enjoyable experience for visitors. While not as large as some major city zoos, it provides a good variety of animals in well-maintained habitats. Visitors often appreciate the zoo's compact size, which makes it easy to navigate and see all the exhibits in a few hours.

The zoo houses a diverse collection of animals, including big cats, primates, and various reptiles. Many visitors highlight the chimpanzee exhibit and the red panda enclosure as particular favorites. The zoo also features a petting zoo area, which is popular among families with young children.

Staff members are generally described as friendly and knowledgeable, often engaging visitors with informative talks about the animals. The zoo's commitment to conservation and education is evident through their various programs and exhibits.

However, some visitors note that the zoo can feel small compared to larger institutions, and there may be limited activities for older children or adults seeking more in-depth experiences. Additionally, some exhibits may occasionally be closed for maintenance or animal care.

While the Chattanooga Zoo may not compete with world-renowned zoos in terms of size or variety, it offers a pleasant, family-friendly experience that is well-suited for a half-day visit. Its affordable pricing and convenient location make it a good option for local families and tourists looking for a brief wildlife encounter in Chattanooga.

The zoo was very nice. The restroom however was horrible! 3 out of the 4 stalls was out of order and the sink was out of order. The floor was dirty and smelly. I would not let my little granddaughter use it. Maybe you could put a little money into something everyone uses at some point.
