The Chief Richardville House in Fort Wayne offers visitors a glimpse into the life of Jean-Baptiste de Richardville, a prominent Miami Native American leader. This historic home, built in the 1820s, is notable for its Greek Revival architecture and its significance in Native American history. Visitors appreciate the well-preserved interior and the knowledgeable guides who provide context about Richardville's life and the Miami tribe's history. The house's small size allows for an intimate tour experience, though some guests note that this also means tours can feel brief. While the museum provides valuable historical information, some visitors mention that the exhibits are somewhat limited. The peaceful grounds surrounding the house are often highlighted as a pleasant feature.
