The Musée de l'horlogerie is a private museum with a remarkable collection of extraordinary clocks and watches. The museum is attached to a restoration workshop: the Clock clinic. Over the years of working with clocks and watches, a large collection of timepieces has been built up, which we are happy to present to the public. Tours are available by appointment for groups of 10 to 25 people. A guided tour is always provided by one of the restorers. Each visit is different and tailored to the target audience.

The Horlogeriemuseum in Mechelen, Belgium, is a specialized museum dedicated to the art and science of timekeeping. Visitors often appreciate the extensive collection of clocks and watches, ranging from antique to modern pieces. The museum provides an informative journey through the history of horology, with many praising the detailed explanations and the opportunity to see intricate clockwork mechanisms up close. The museum's location in a historic building adds to its charm, though some visitors note that the space can feel a bit cramped at times. While the subject matter may not appeal to everyone, those with an interest in clocks, watches, or mechanical engineering generally find the experience rewarding. Some reviewers mention that the museum could benefit from more interactive displays or English translations for international visitors. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Horlogeriemuseum is generally regarded as a well-curated and educational attraction that offers a deep dive into the world of timekeeping.
