The Coral Museum is divided into two sections. The first section is educational and presents a variety of coral branches from different origins and types. It also showcases ancient fishing systems and tools used for processing, as well as numerous necklaces in various cuts and styles. This section provides insight into the markets to which these items were and are destined.
The second section of the Coral Museum is dedicated to jewelry. It showcases more than 300 objects made of coral, cameos, and lava stone. These pieces are testimonies of a rare and refined production that spans from the beginning of the 19th century to the 1940s. This section offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the craftsmanship and artistry involved in creating these pieces.
