As the oldest home in Shelby County, TN, right outside Memphis, Davies Manor preserves and interprets local history from around 1830-1930, the rough time frame the house was inhabited. Take an immersive tour through the log cabin set up with artifacts from the Davies family as well as others donated from the area. Inside the Manor house is also a temporary exhibit room that changes every 2-3 months and the permanent exhibit "Omitted in Mass" which explores the Davies family involvement in enslavement and sharecropping in the area. The historic house sits on 37 acres and includes additional outbuildings, gardens, animals, and walking trails through the woods.
