Deal Maritime and Local History Museum is a museum in Deal. Our displays portray the changing history of Deal, Walmer and the surrounding area and we are packed to the rafters with fascinating glimpses into the past. We have exhibitions relating to WW1, WW2 and the Dunkirk evacuation, the Royal Marines and Wrens, a maritime gallery and a boatyard. We have a number of model and real boats including a lugger used for smuggling and a "little ship" used at Dunkirk.
