The Dinosaur Museum, a paleontological museum, is situated in the city of Uberaba, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a significant location for those interested in paleontology and the history of dinosaurs. The museum offers a unique opportunity to learn about the prehistoric era and the creatures that once roamed the earth.
The Dinosaur Museum is home to a variety of fossils, including a nearly complete shell of a small turtle, small lizards, iguanas, two species of crocodiles, sauropods, theropods, and velociraptors, among others. These fossils provide a glimpse into the diverse prehistoric life that once existed in the region.
Upon entering the Dinosaur Museum, visitors are greeted by a large replica of a herbivorous dinosaur, a creation of artist and sculptor Northon de Azevedo Fenerich. The exhibition room houses dozens of replicas and illustrations that, in conjunction with the fossils, provide detailed insights into the characteristics of each prehistoric animal.
