A rich treasure trove of historical objects that bear witness to the history and culture of the region.

The museum offers the opportunity to explore and completely disappear into the evidence of the past.

The agricultural reforms in the late 18th century and rural life up to the 1960s are the focal point of the museum.

You follow the technological and cultural development in the region together with the people who influenced and lived during it.

The exhibitions at the museum are made alive, relevant and present by the human destinies that you encounter in it.

The atmosphere at the museum is informal, homely and warm-hearted. The place is run by volunteers.

It can sometimes be difficult to detach yourself from the specialized tools, whose function often requires a detailed explanation.

Everything fits into a story about how everyday life and rural life were made to fit together. In prosperity and adversity.

I left the museum with a greater perspective and food for thought. Including a greater awe and respect for the creativity and living conditions of the past.
