Fiavé Pile dwelling Museum

The Fiavé Pile dwelling Museum, also known as Museo delle Palafitte di Fiavé, is an archaeological museum situated in the town of Fiavé in the Trentino region of Italy. The museum is managed by the Office for Archaeology of the Superintendency for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento. Exhibits at the Museum

The exhibition area of the Fiavé Pile dwelling Museum is spread over 14 halls located on the first and second floors of the building. Parco Archeo Natura a Fiavé

In 2021, the Parco Archeo Natura a Fiavé was opened on the edge of the excavation zones and the nature reserve in the Fiavé peat bog. This 12,000 m² area, partly surrounded by water, features several replicas of pile dwellings. Some of these have been reconstructed to their original size, providing visitors with a realistic representation of what life might have been like in these prehistoric settlements.
