The State Flag Square and Museum of Nakhchivan is a significant location in the city of Nakhchivan, within the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. It serves as both a museum and a square, offering visitors a unique blend of cultural and historical experiences.
The museum is situated at the highest point of the city of Nakhchivan, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. The museum's design is centered around a flagpole and has an octagonal shape. The national flag that waves on the square measures 20 meters in length and 10 meters in width, with the flagpole standing at a height of 57 meters.
The museum houses a variety of exhibits that provide insight into the history and culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. These include a copy of the decree 'On State Symbols of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic', photographs from the time of its adoption, restored flags, coats of arms, administrative maps of historical states, and items from the Nakhichevan Khanate. Visitors can also view military uniforms, constitutions adopted in different years, old banknotes, and coins minted in Nakhchivan.
