The Flakkebjerg School Museum, established in 1981, is housed in the former Flakkebjerg Forskole, which closed its doors in 1962. The museum offers a unique glimpse into the history of education in the region.
Flakkebjerg was once a stop on the Slagelse-Nรฆstved railway line, with a branch line known as Skรฆlskรธrbanen operating from 1892 to 1971. The station was located 2 km north of the church village. Today, the station building is preserved and can be found at Flakkebjerg Stationsvej 3.
Just 1ยฝ km north of Flakkebjerg, you'll find Aarhus University's experimental farm, AU Flakkebjerg. This facility is a hub for application-oriented plant research.
