The Fondazione Prada is a contemporary art foundation that was established in 1995 by Prada. The foundation originated from an exhibition space that was created in 1993 under the name PradaMilanoArte, located in the Prada District in Milan. This foundation has been co-directed since its inception by Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli.
Ca’ Corner della Regina
In 2011, the Fondazione Prada opened Ca’ Corner della Regina, an exhibition space located in an 18th-century palace in Venice. The exhibitions presented at Ca’ Corner della Regina occupy the different spaces of the building and are held in conjunction with ongoing renovation works.
New Space of Fondazione Prada in Milan
The Fondazione Prada opened a new space in Milan on May 9, 2015. This new location, situated at Largo Isarco, south of Milan, is a former distillery that has been redesigned by the OMA agency, led by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. The space includes an art center and permanent exhibition spaces, covering a total area of 19,000 square meters.
