Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris, United States, offers visitors a glimpse into early 20th-century farm life. This working farm maintains its historical integrity, allowing guests to experience authentic agricultural practices and daily routines from the past. Visitors appreciate the hands-on activities, such as feeding animals, participating in farm chores, and observing demonstrations of period-appropriate skills. The knowledgeable staff, dressed in period costumes, adds to the immersive experience and provides informative insights about life on a New Jersey farm from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

The farm's main house, known as The Willows, is well-preserved and offers guided tours that showcase the lifestyle of the Foster family. Many visitors find the contrast between the wealthy family's home and the modest farmers' living quarters educational and thought-provoking. The site also features various outbuildings, including barns, a carriage house, and an ice house, which help paint a comprehensive picture of farm operations.

While most visitors enjoy the authentic experience, some mention that the site can be quite spread out, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Additionally, a few reviewers note that the experience can be weather-dependent, with fewer activities available during inclement weather or off-season visits.

The farm's commitment to education is evident in its school programs and special events, which are often highlighted as engaging and informative. However, some visitors suggest that more interactive exhibits or displays could enhance the experience, especially for younger children.

Overall, Fosterfields Living Historical Farm provides an educational and enjoyable experience for those interested in agricultural history and early 20th-century rural life. Its strengths lie in its authenticity, knowledgeable staff, and hands-on approach to history, making it a worthwhile destination for families, history enthusiasts, and school groups alike.
