These rooms are adorned with furniture, paintings, and carpets that span from the Renaissance to the Baroque period. Visitors can also explore the Fürstensaal, formerly known as the Wappensaal, which houses the Echter family carpet. Additionally, there are various exhibition rooms that display objects from the prince-bishop's treasure and parament chamber.

The Fürstenbaumuseum, located in the Würzburg Residence in Würzburg, Germany, offers visitors a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of 18th-century prince-bishops. The museum showcases a collection of period furniture, tapestries, and artworks that once adorned the private apartments of the residence.
Visitors generally appreciate the well-preserved interiors and the opportunity to explore rooms not typically open to the public. The ornate Baroque and Rococo decorations, including elaborate stucco work and frescoes, are frequently mentioned as highlights. Many reviewers note that the museum provides a good understanding of the historical context and the lives of the prince-bishops who resided there.
On the downside, some visitors mention that the information provided in English is somewhat limited, which can detract from the experience for non-German speakers. Additionally, a few reviewers find the tour to be relatively short compared to the main Residence tour.
The museum is often praised for its smaller crowds, allowing for a more intimate and relaxed viewing experience. However, this also means that some visitors accidentally overlook it or are unaware of its existence separate from the main Residence tour.
Overall, the Fürstenbaumuseum is considered a valuable addition to a visit to the Würzburg Residence, offering a more personal look at the living quarters of its former inhabitants. While not as grand as the State Rooms, it provides a complementary perspective on the history and lifestyle of the era.
