Ghent City Museum (STAM) is housed in the 14th-century Bijloke Abbey. The museum depicts the story of Ghent with more than 300 collection pieces and interactive multimedia. Visitors take a journey through time. The story begins with the growth and prosperity of the medieval city. The modern city of knowledge and culture arose from centuries of history. The trip ends with a look at the future of Ghent.
