Source

One of the main sources of income for Delta is the Intermountain Power Project (I.P.P.), also known as the Intermountain Power Service Corporation (I.P.S.C.). This coal-powered plant supplies energy to a large part of Los Angeles County in California. While not a tourist attraction in itself, it plays a significant role in the local economy.

Fossil Excavations in Delta

Another significant aspect of Millard County's economy is the fossil excavations. Trilobite fossils are relatively common in the western region of Delta, which is part of Wheeler Shale. There is at least one company near Antelope Springs that allows visitors to extract their own fossils for a fee. This unique experience can be a highlight for tourists interested in paleontology and natural history.
