The Gudhjem Museum is housed in a preserved former station building in the northern Bornholm town of Gudhjem. This historic building was originally constructed in 1916 by renowned architects Kay Fisker and Aage Rafn. It served as one of the stations on the Gudhjem line, an extension of the Nexø line's branch to Almindingen.
The Gudhjem Museum offers a variety of changing art exhibitions throughout the year, providing visitors with a fresh and unique experience each time they visit. In addition to these exhibitions, the preserved station building houses a collection dedicated to local history, offering a glimpse into the past of this charming town.
In front of the Gudhjem Museum, visitors can explore a sculpture park featuring works by artists Ole Christensen, Inge Lise Westmann, Julie Høm, and Jun-Ichi Inoue. This outdoor gallery provides a unique opportunity to enjoy art in a natural setting.
