The Harding Home, located at 380 Mount Vernon Avenue in Marion, Ohio, is a historic house museum that was once the residence of Warren G. Harding, the 29th president of the United States. This site offers a unique opportunity to explore the life and times of President Harding.

Architectural Features of the Harding Home

The Harding Home is surrounded by an expansive, elaborately detailed porch. Upon entering the house, visitors are welcomed into a reception hall, with a parlor on the left. The first floor also houses a dining room and Harding's office. The second floor features four bedrooms and a bathroom, with built-in closets that were an unusual feature for the time.

Original Furnishings and Artifacts at the Harding Home

The restored Harding Home contains almost all original furnishings owned by President Harding and his wife. The adjacent press house features exhibits about the lives of President and Mrs. Harding. Visitors can explore a collection of over 5,000 original artifacts that belonged to Warren and Florence Harding, providing a unique insight into their lives.
