Hills and Dales Estate is a historic home located in Lagrange, Georgia. It was built in 1916 for textile magnate Fuller Earle Callaway and his wife Ida Cason Callaway. The Historic Ferrell Gardens

The Hills and Dales Estate also includes the Ferrell Gardens, which were started by Nancy Ferrell in 1832 and later expanded by her daughter Sarah Coleman Ferrell in 1841. These gardens predate the Civil War and are a significant part of the estate's history. Visitors can explore these beautiful gardens and learn about their historical significance.

Estate Turned Museum

After the death of Alice Callaway in 1998, the Hills and Dales Estate was bequeathed to the Fuller E. Callaway Foundation. In accordance with the Callaways' wishes, the estate was transformed into a museum for the public to enjoy. Following extensive renovations and the addition of a visitor center, the estate was opened to the public in October 2004.
