Skûtsjemuseum "De Stripe" is housed in a building whose design is derived from the "skûthûs," which used to be the heart of a Frisian shipyard. The museum focuses on the lives of an earlier generation of sailors who sailed on skûtsjes. There is also a focus on today's SKS and IFKS championship competitions.
