Visitors generally appreciate the well-presented exhibits that showcase archaeological findings from the area. The reconstructed Iron Age houses are often mentioned as a highlight, giving visitors a tangible sense of how people lived thousands of years ago. Many reviewers find the hands-on activities, such as grinding grain or making fire using ancient techniques, to be engaging and educational, especially for children.

The museum's location on an artificial island adds an interesting dimension to the visit, though some visitors note that it can make accessibility challenging for those with mobility issues. The staff is frequently praised for their knowledge and enthusiasm, often enhancing the experience with their insights.

While many visitors find the centre informative and enjoyable, some mention that the exhibits could benefit from more detailed explanations in multiple languages.
