Hospital Museum St. Dimpna is located in the old hospital and monastic buildings of the Augustinians, of which the oldest parts date back to the 15th century. In the museum, the visitor learns about the everyday life in a hospital and the life of the hospital sisters. Also the memories of Saint Dymphna survive; this Irish king's daughter, who died a martyr's death in Geel, lies at the foundations of the family care of mentally ill people in Geel. Audioguides and computers are available.
