Opening and Development of Humboldt Botanical Garden

The Humboldt Botanical Garden officially opened its doors to the public in 2006. Since then, further development has been completed by 2008, enhancing the garden's offerings and making it an even more attractive destination for visitors.

Diversity of the Native Plant Garden

The Native Plant Garden at the Humboldt Botanical Garden emphasizes the flora of the Humboldt region. However, it also includes plants from a wider geographic area, stretching from the Rogue River to the north shore of San Francisco Bay, and inland along a north-south line running from Vacaville through Williams, Redding, Yreka, and Medford, and along the Rogue River to its mouth. This diversity of plant life offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of flora without leaving the garden.

Special Events at Humboldt Botanical Garden

The Humboldt Botanical Gardens also serve as a venue for special events. This means that visitors can not only enjoy the natural beauty of the gardens but also participate in various events that are held there, adding another layer of enjoyment to their visit.
