The International Exlibris Center Sint-Niklaas was devoted to ex-libris, a property mark stuck in a book to prevent theft. It is a form of small graphics. The center had collected about 160,000 of them from some 50 countries and from six centuries. Visitors learned what an ex-libris is, how it is made and the variety of appearances. On display were ex-libris of famous artists, well-known owners and historical events, among others. THE MUSEUM IS NO LONGER OPEN.
