The Kasuga Grand Shrine, also known as Kasuga-taisha, is a significant Shinto shrine situated in Nara, Japan. Established in 769 AD, the shrine has undergone several reconstructions throughout the centuries. It is a symbol of the Fujiwara clan and is renowned for its architectural style, Kasuga-zukuri, named after the shrine's honden (main sanctuary).
