Køge Mini-Town, located in Køge, Zealand, Denmark, is a unique miniature park that offers a glimpse into the past. It is a detailed replica of the town of Køge as it appeared in 1865, recreated on a 1:10 scale. This historical representation provides an interesting perspective on the architectural and urban development of the town during that period.
The Kjøge Mini-By Laug association, founded in March 1987, has been instrumental in the creation of Køge Mini-Town. As of the end of 2023, the association's volunteers have constructed 729 houses, with the aim of eventually building over 1000. This ongoing project adds to the authenticity and historical accuracy of the miniature town.
Køge Mini-Town is situated on a spacious 10,000 square meter area at Strandvejen 101 / Strandpromenaden 26. It is open to the public daily from 10:00 to 16:00 during the months of May through September. This schedule allows ample time for visitors to explore the intricacies of the miniature town at their leisure.
