Pramet is a quaint village nestled in the Innviertel region of Upper Austria. It is situated approximately 7½ kilometers south of Ried im Innkreis, making it a peaceful retreat away from the bustling city. The village is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, offering a serene environment for visitors to explore and enjoy.
The first public school in the community, established in 1792, now serves as the Kulturhaus and the Stelzhamer museum. The museum is dedicated to the local poet Franz Stelzhamer, who was born in the nearby village of Großpiesenham. Visitors can learn about the poet's life and work, as well as the history of the village and the region.
