The Museum am Lindenbühl is a cultural history museum situated in Mühlhausen/Thüringen. It is housed in a Neo-Renaissance style building that was built between 1818 and 1871 as a gymnasium. Since 1947, it has been home to a regional history museum.

Prehistoric and Early History Department

The museum's prehistoric and early history department is considered one of the most significant in Thuringia. Excavations from the Mühlhausen basin, which has been continuously inhabited since the Neolithic period, make it possible to trace almost all cultural steps that once existed in Thuringia.

City and Regional History Exhibition

The museum's exhibition on the city and regional history explores the possible reasons why Mühlhausen became an undisputed center of the past. The same level of detail is applied to the depiction of its later downfall.
