The Landskabs- og Landbrugsmuseet is an agricultural and open-air museum situated in the town of Mosbjerg, close to Sindal in the region of Vendsyssel. This location offers visitors a chance to explore the rich agricultural history of the area in a serene and natural setting.
The museum operates in a manner reminiscent of the agricultural practices around the year 1915. Visitors can experience first-hand how fields were cultivated and animals were reared during this period, providing a unique insight into the past.
The museum comprises two buildings, one of which is an old smallholder's house. This house was originally built in 1899, but was torn down in 1977. It was then rebuilt at its current location in 1982, allowing visitors to step back in time and experience the living conditions of the past.
The second building at the museum is a barn from the Bjørnager farm. This barn houses an exhibition that provides information about the geological formation of the landscape. Additionally, it contains a collection of agricultural tools dating from 1880 to 1950, offering visitors a glimpse into the evolution of farming techniques over the years.
