The Newburgh Ancestry and History Society is a Voluntary Group set up to preserve and archive the various collections of local history, photographs and artefacts that have been donated to the Museum. We operate in the Lower Laing Museum which displays a wide range of Historical Artefacts and Information mainly related to living and working in Newburgh and surrounding area. The preservation of these artefacts is an important record of Newburgh’s heritage, its various industries, social and family history for the future education & interest of all. In November 2023 the Society awarded Scottish Charity Status by OSCR.
