Maritime Museum Rotterdam has 3 ratings.
The Maritime Museum Rotterdam offers an informative and engaging experience for visitors interested in the city's rich nautical history. Located in the heart of Rotterdam, the museum showcases a diverse collection of maritime artifacts, models, and interactive exhibits. Visitors appreciate the well-preserved ships and boats on display, particularly the offshore experience and the harbor tour. The museum effectively illustrates Rotterdam's importance as a major port city and its impact on global trade. While many find the exhibits educational and suitable for all ages, some visitors note that certain areas could benefit from updated translations or more comprehensive English explanations. The museum's location in the historic harbor area adds to its appeal, allowing visitors to connect the exhibits with the surrounding maritime environment. Overall, the Maritime Museum Rotterdam provides a solid overview of the city's seafaring heritage, though there is room for minor improvements in accessibility for international visitors.
A museum for the kids, with interactive games. They totally loved it. For me it was quite all right. So without kids it’s quite interesting. If you have kids, bring them, they’ll love their time there.
Leuk in het museum zijn de schepen en andere vaartuigen in de haven. Het binnengedeelte is vrij klein en minder interessant. Vooral voor kinderen is het museum leuk.
