The MAST Castel Goffredo - Museo della Città is situated in the town of Castel Goffredo, within the province of Mantua. The museum was officially recognized by the Lombardy Region on October 16, 2018. It is housed within the historic Palazzo della Prevostura and Palazzo Negri, both dating back to the 15th century.

Museum's Character and Exhibits

The MAST Castel Goffredo - Museo della Città, inaugurated on October 14, 2017, is a historical-artistic museum. It offers visitors an insight into the history of the city of Castel Goffredo from prehistoric times to the present. The museum's exhibits include works of religious and secular patronage such as paintings, sculptures, epigraphs, stone coats of arms, furniture, and documents. It also houses illuminated manuscripts, books, and liturgical objects like banners, monstrances, chalices, and vestments, all of which belong to the prepositural parish of Sant'Erasmo.
