The Military Museum of the Southern Military Command, also known as the Army Museum, is a significant historical site in Porto Alegre. It is conveniently located in the city center, near the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, on Andradas Street 630. The Military Museum boasts a collection of more than four thousand pieces. These include collections of combat and transport vehicles, uniforms, weapons, equipment, helmets, clothing, heraldry, photos, and documents. The Military Museum is open to the public from Tuesday to Thursday, from 10 am to 4 pm, and on Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm.
