The Giovanni Battista Bergallo Tower Clock Museum is situated in the picturesque town of Bardino Nuovo, which is part of the municipality of Tovo San Giacomo, in the province of Savona. This location is not only home to the museum but also offers a charming Italian experience with its local culture and history.
The museum is a repository of timepieces that were handcrafted for towers and bell towers by the Bergallo family in their home-workshop from 1860 to 1980. These clocks, crafted over a century of activity, are still present on bell towers and civic towers in Italy and abroad.
The museum occupies an exhibition area of over 260 square meters, spread over 11 rooms on two floors in the former town hall of Bardino Nuovo. It is conveniently located next to the parish church of San Sebastiano in Piazza Canonico Folco, making it an easy addition to a day of sightseeing in the area.
