The Motorrad- und Technikmuseum Leiningerland, located in Rheinland-Pfalz, was founded in April 1991. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the museum could only be opened to the public in 2001. This museum is a testament to the rich history and evolution of motorcycles and technology over the years.
The Motorrad- und Technikmuseum Leiningerland is open to visitors one to two days per week. The museum primarily focuses on two-wheelers, showcasing a collection of 50 motorcycles, 20 mopeds, and 12 bicycles. These exhibits provide a comprehensive overview of the evolution of two-wheeled vehicles over the years.
In addition to the two-wheelers, the Motorrad- und Technikmuseum Leiningerland also exhibits 20 engines. Among these is a stationary engine from the Hatz engine factory, dating back to 1926. This particular exhibit offers a glimpse into the technological advancements of the past.
