The museum is housed in the deconsecrated church of San Giovanni Battista, a historical building dating back to the 12th century. Also known as San Giovanni d'Afra, the church provides a spacious area of about 300 m² for the museum, adding a touch of historical charm to the visitor's experience.
The museum's collection comprises 23 medium to large size stained glass windows and approximately a hundred fragments. These pieces are mainly sourced from the "Giuseppina Bernardini" collection and the "Luigi Fatti" donation, offering a diverse range of styles and designs for visitors to appreciate.
Among the museum's collection, visitors will find a life-size reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper, created by Rosa and Cecilia Caselli between 1937 and 1942. This piece is part of the Fatti Collection. Additionally, a large English crucifixion from the pre-Raphaelite period, likely designed by William Morris, is another highlight of the collection.
