The Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Villa Croce (The Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art) is one of the structures of the Genoa museum center. It is located inside Villa Croce (Carignano), an eighteenth-century building in neoclassical style donated to the Municipality of Genoa by the Croce family in 1951 with the obligation of making it a museum. The museum exhibits a permanent collection of Italian and international works of art, the result of research work by Maria Cernuschi Ghiringhelli, wife of Milanese painter and gallery owner Gino Ghiringhelli. It contains more than 3000 works of arts.
