The Museo Ferroviario Machacamarca is a railway museum situated in Machacamarca, in the department of Oruro, Bolivia. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich railway history of Bolivia.
The museum houses a collection of historical railway vehicles that provide a glimpse into Bolivia's railway history. These exhibits offer a tangible connection to the past, allowing visitors to understand the evolution of railway transportation in the country.
One of the museum's highlights is the first German steam locomotive named after Patiño's youngest daughter, Luzmila. This locomotive, which arrived in the city of Oruro in 1913, played a significant role in connecting the mines La Salvadora with Oruro, as well as the localities of Uncía, Llallagua, and Huanuni.
