Museum De Ronde Venen and its collection

Museum De Ronde Venen is dedicated to the history of De Ronde Venen, with special focus on the peat industry. Peat has historically played a major role in the municipality of De Ronde Venen. In the 20th century, agriculture, horticulture and cattle breeding were the main means of living in the region. The collection includes objects that are related to this time, including the authentic auction clock of the Vinkeveen fruit and vegetable auction.
