The Museum der Stadt Lünen is a city institution located in Lünen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It displays its collections in over 500 square meters in the former economic building of Schwansbell Castle. The museum offers a wide range of exhibits, including five living rooms from the period between 1840 and 1930, a cast iron collection, a toy and doll collection, a ceramics department, and agricultural and craft tools.
The Museum der Stadt Lünen will be open at its current location next to Schwansbell Castle until October 29, 2023. After this date, it will move to its new location in the Lünen city center: Graf Adolf-Straße 36 in the monument-protected, renovated and expanded Villa Urbahn. The expected opening date at the new location is in the spring of 2025.
